On the way to Lindsay + Brad’s wedding I watched out the windshield as storm clouds loomed over head. With a forecast of all day rain I worried not only about our outdoor photo opportunities but about how their outdoor ceremony would unfold. We started our day with Lindsay and her girls getting ready in the upstairs room that used to belong to Gwendolyn Crosley. Their wedding took place at the amazing Pinecroft Estate in Cincinnati, former home of the industrialist and inventor Powell Crosley and his family.
From their sweet first look in the estate garden to the bouquet toss off the top balcony, the day proceeded beautifully without a drop of rain until all the guests had entered the reception tent and photos were wrapping up. Talk about good timing. The love of family and friends was woven thickly throughout the entire wedding. Their dessert table was made up of the most incredible desserts handmade by some of their loved ones and Brad helped to kick off the reception with a few a cappella numbers sung with his dad and friends. I felt so honored to be a part of their day.
A big thanks to Christen for second shooting this beauty with me!
