Janneke and Luke’s wedding was what happens when worn industrial meets earthy vintage and they go on a picnic together. It was laid back and natural and totally my kind of wedding. They were married in the contemporary Longworth Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio. Janneke is a quirky German girl who also happens to be an artist and a photographer, needless to say we get along great. The moment I started to get a little concerned about rain she busted out some adorable bubble umbrellas that made the rain instantly seem like an adventure. Every bride looks stunning in her wedding dress but Janneke’s fit her more perfectly than I have ever witnessed. Her relationship with her little brother reminded me so much of my relationship with my little brother and I admit to tearing up a few times when he would sneak up and hug her, holding on for dear life. I had a blast photographing their day, I felt so at home. Check out their engagement session from last fall, here.
